A beautiful sight on & from the wall

THought of taking this home but it was a bit big for the suitaces

All the red roofs of Dubrovnic

This fountain has been in operation from the start of the city and as it come from an underground spring far away helped supply constant water during sieges.  It still tastes pretty good as well

Listening to the commentary about the replacement of the roof tiles,  something like just under 5,000,0000 tiles were destroyed and replaced
The cistern and fountain from above
Roof tops of Dubrovnic, the bright ones were replacements and you can still see some original tiles

HI Pauline, Hi Arne,
It's exciting and so much fun to read your comments and look at the pictures. Thank you for the postings. I tried to email you from Bulgaria but I had no luck. I did read parts of Elastic Time to Sheryl and Maria, my hiking friends. We had a great time and yes meeting up with people is wonderful. I am back home now. Six weeks went by so quickly. Hiking in the Rila and Pirin Mountains was beautiful. I spent about 10 days on the Black Sea. I have a Nessebar story to tell you when you return. Also, wine in a 2 litre Coke bottle is very tasty. I agree.
Take care and I know that you will continue to have lots of fun.
PS. I love retirement. Cheers Roz
